The SUISAG company

SUISAG was founded in 1998 from the merger of various organisations from the pig sector. Headquartered in Sempach, SUISAG is committed to the interests of Swiss and international pig production.

Together with pig producers, an independent and unique breeding programme has been developed since SUISAG was founded. Animal-friendly, healthy and at the same time economical pig farming has existed in Switzerland for decades.
This is why Swiss breeds are a big step ahead of other European breeds. Calm, robust pigs have long been in demand, regardless of the new housing system.
SUISAG customers can choose from a good quality selection of damlines and sirelines genetics. Together with its customers, SUISAG intends to develop the swiss genetics further over the next years.

In the areas of breeding, artificial insemination and pig health, SUISAG performs important tasks for the benefit of pig farming and combines numerous competences under one roof.
